Located at Templeogue Lodge, Willington Scout Den has served as the home of local scouting for over 50 years. Our Scout Den provides a safe, welcoming, and purpose-built environment where young people can learn, build skills, embark on adventures in the outdoors, and—most importantly—make happy memories!

From Humble Beginnings
Willington Scout Den grew from humble beginnings in 1975, starting out as a leftover builder’s hut following the construction of local schools. Over the past five decades, that simple wooden shelter has evolved into a state-of-the-art scouting facility through the generosity and perseverance of our local community.

Creating a Better (and Greener) World
A core premise of Scouting is to leave the world a little better than we found it. To live that mission, the Scout Den recently underwent a major energy efficiency overhaul supported by fundraising, South Dublin County Council and the government’s Climate Action Fund.
