Following from parents’ meeting last Thursday evening, we require confirmation of interest for Annual Camp to Ardeche 28th July – 7th August 2016.
Dates are subject to confirmation but will only change by 1-2 days either side.
If there is not sufficient numbers interested, we will look at a different option for Annual Camp next year.
The membership registration service is now open for all families to submit their registration details online. The registration page will be open until Sunday 11th October, ahead of our Registration Night and Parents & Friends AGM on Tuesday 13th October from 7pm.
Last week saw the beginning of our Youth Programme meetings for 2015/2016 and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome your family back after the summer break. Indeed we would like to extend a warm welcome to some families, who are joining us for the first time. We hope both you and your child/ren will continue to enjoy, participate and support Scouting Ireland and the Group.
Please see below a list of activities, some of these activites may change slightly – but we hope for the majority of the dates to stay the same.
The Scout Section expect full participation at all events, including fundraisers for the Group. In the event that you cannot make it to one of our activities please let your Scout leaders know ASAP.

Venue: Furze Road Phoenix Park
Time: 8.30am – 2pm approx.
Parents should bring their child’s neckerchief with them. Adults only to attend this fundraiser.
You will be allowed to park near the Furze Road if you are there at 8.30am. Please contact your section leader if you have any queries regarding this fundraiser.

Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,
The Group Council would like to invite you to the Group’s Annual BBQ and Going Up – ceremony on Thursday 25th June 2015 at the Scout Den and Camp Lawn.
The ceremony will start at 7.30 pm and will be followed by a BBQ.
Please come along to enjoy and celebrate the success and achievements of the Scout Group and its members both youth and adult.

Although Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Ventures may be closed during the summer, we expect to see a good turnout for these events.

A huge Congratulations to both our shield teams who braved the cold and wet weather over the weekend and took part in Mountpelier Scout County Shield.
Our Novice team got joint 1st place alongside Firhouse and our Shield team got 3rd place & brought home the Cooking Trophy.
Well done to all other teams who competed over the weekend & congratulations to both 37th Pius who got 1st place and 168th St. Aengus who got 2nd place. All three Groups will be attending the Phoenix Challenge in Limerick this August.
