Scout Section Annual Camp 2016

Following from parents’ meeting last Thursday evening, we require confirmation of interest for Annual Camp to Ardeche 28th July – 7th August 2016.

Dates are subject to confirmation but will only change by 1-2 days either side.

If there is not sufficient numbers interested, we will look at a different option for Annual Camp next year.

Last week saw the beginning of our Youth Programme meetings for 2015/2016 and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome your family back after the summer break.  Indeed we would like to extend a warm welcome to some families, who are joining us for the first time. We hope both you and your child/ren will continue to enjoy, participate and support Scouting Ireland and the Group.

Please see below a list of activities, some of these activites may change slightly – but we hope for the majority of the dates to stay the same.

 

The Scout Section expect full participation at all events, including fundraisers for the Group. In the event that you cannot make it to one of our activities please let your Scout leaders know ASAP.

County Youth Forum, Saturday 14th November

 

Annual Ice Skating & Sleepover Weekend, Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th December

This is not an exhaustive list… Fundraisers and other activities will be added to the website so keep an eye out there for updates!

Water Station – 27th June

Date: Saturday 27th June
Venue: Furze Road Phoenix Park
Time: 8.30am – 2pm approx.

Parents should bring their child’s neckerchief with them. Adults only to attend this fundraiser.

You will be allowed to park near the Furze Road if you are there at 8.30am. Please contact your section leader if you have any queries regarding this fundraiser.
